Prevent unnecessary blindness. Give people a chance for a better life.
The Eye Care Foundation helps prevent and cure unnecessary blindness and visual impairment in developing countries. There are 285 million people with visual impairment worldwide.
In developing countries, blindness leads to major economic and social problems. Blind people are usually unable to work and are dependent on relatives and friends. 80% is preventable or curable; for example through cataract surgery or good prescription glasses. It can be very simple, but without the help of you as a donor it is impossible to achieve this.
For € 35, you can give an eye test and prescription glasses. And with that you give a child a chance for a good future.
Please, will you help 1, 2 or maybe even 3 children?
Your modest monthly donation gives someone in a developing country the chance to build a future with clear vision. You can stop your contribution at any time. If you prefer, you can also make a one-time donation.
